Bianca Lakoseljac will talk about the inspiration for Stone Woman, her novel that relives Toronto's 1967 "summer of love." She will also read excerpts.

Stone Woman is a saga of five women whose lives are bound together by a Vietnam-War draft dodger immersed in the 1960s Yorkville hippie subculture. The intrigue culminates in the convergence of their loves, tragedies and quests for social change. The story is brought to the present through the lives of the women's daughters who discover that their family secrets have literally been sculpted into an art form that imparts a sense of homecoming and alludes to a more hopeful future.
