Join us for a panel discussion titled "ON THE FRONTLINES" featuring:

Vickery Bowles, City Librarian, Toronto Public Library
Nancy Cooper, writer, educator, Indigenous literacy advocate
Marcus McCann, author, lawyer & co-owner, Glad Day Bookshop
Brian MacLeod Rogers, media lawyer specializing in freedom of expression issues

Moderated by Becky Toyne, books columnist and editor.

The Writers' Union of Canada will then present its annual Freedom to Read Award.

A reception will follow. Snack will be served and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the panel will start at 7 p.m.
