Join the virtual launch of THE DEVIL TO PAY, an Inspector Green Mystery by Barbara Fradkin.

Barbara Fradkin is a Canadian crime writer and retired psychologist with a fascination for why we turn bad. After a hiatus of seven years, her award-winning series featuring impetuous, exasperating Ottawa Police Inspector Michael Green is back with its eleventh novel, THE DEVIL TO PAY. But there's a twist. Sidelined into administrative duties, Green misses the thrill of the chase, so when his daughter Hannah, now a rookie patrol officer, is drawn into a domestic disturbance call in a wealthy suburb, Green can't resist getting involved. With almost fatal consequences.

Mary Jane Maffini is a long-time friend and proflific, talented writer who mixes humour and mystery in the Camilla MacPhee books, the Fiona Silk capers and the Charlotte Adams cozies as well as in two dozen crime shorts. As Victoria Abbott, she collaborated on the five collector mysteries (Berkley Prime Crime) with her daughter, Victoria. Book Four, The Marsh Madness, won the 2015 Bony Blithe Award for mysteries that make us smile.
Find out about Barbara's research, writing process, ideas and inspiration, listen to a snippet from the book, and ask questions. Bring your snacks and drink of choice to the party, and help her celebrate!
