As part of Native Earth's Weesageechak Begins to Dance festival, Playwrights Canada Press celebrates the launch of Keith Barker’s This Is How We Got Here and Tara Beagan's In Spirit with a reading in the second floor lobby of the Daniels Spectrum building, from 6-7 pm. Free and open to the public.
Keith Barker is a Métis artist from Northwestern Ontario. He has served as a theatre program officer at the Canada Council for the Arts, and is currently the artistic director of Native Earth Performing Arts in Toronto.
Tara Beagan is a proud Ntlaka’pamux and Irish “Canadian” halfbreed based in Calgary, Alberta. She is co-founder/director of ARTICLE 11 with Andy Moro.
