Who says that a story has to have a beginning, middle and end - in that order? Why can't poetry be prosaic? In this reading and writing workshop led by Phoebe Tsang, we will cut up, mix up, reframe and reimagine existing source texts, and invent hybrid creations that defy categorization. Prepare for an afternoon of bold experimentation. Bring in a newspaper article, discarded library book, or that novel you began years ago but never finished. Come away with brand new, ready-to-publish pieces that look, feel and sound like nothing you've ever written.
Phoebe Tsang is British-Canadian poet, author, librettist and playwright whose artistic practice favours interdisciplinary collaboration and improvisation as a vehicle for composition and performance.
