Book lovers and those interested in literary works on Jewish themes and subjects are welcome at the 10th annual Canadian Jewish Literary Awards. Winning books, selected by an independent jury, will be announced and the authors will discuss their work in a variety of categories, among them fiction, Yiddish, poetry, youth, biography/memoir, and the Irving Abella Award in History. Following the ceremony (approx. 4 p.m.), meet the authors at a dessert reception and purchase autographed copies of their books. Free, but advance registration is recommended, via the website. Book early to guarantee your seat. Co-presented by the Miles Nadal JCC.
