Whether travelling, germinating or lying dormant, seeds embody possibility. On the weekend of February 21-22, 2026, the Draft Reading Series will host almost fifty emerging and established writers, sharing new and unpublished work on the theme of Seeds. The events will be held on Zoom on February 21 and live at St. Matthew's Clubhouse on February 22.
The festival will include scheduled readings as well as “cross-pollination” sessions for community building. Instead of offering advice on how to fit into a crowded marketplace, we invite participants to find ways of making more space, for themselves and each other. Presenters and audience members are welcome to participate.
