Free Puppet Theatre Workshops for Kids

Chickadeedee Puppet Theatre School invites families to a series of free puppet theatre workshops for children of different ages. Led by professional puppeteers and theatre educators from Twisted Dog Theatre, these sessions introduce children to storytelling, theatre games, and hands-on puppet activities in a creative studio environment.

March 21, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM
Free Puppet Making Workshop (Ages 8–9)
Children design and create their own theatrical puppet from start to finish. All materials are provided and each participant takes their puppet home.

March 22, 2026 | 01:00 PM – 02:30 PM
Free Puppet Theatre Workshop (Ages 5–7)
Children play theatre games, invent characters, and tell short stories using professional puppets from Twisted Dog Theatre productions as well as kid-friendly puppets prepared for the class.

March 28, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
Drama Lama, Me & Mama (Ages 1–2)
A puppet theatre and music play session for toddlers and caregivers with songs, rhythm, storytelling, and imaginative play.
