On April 16, 2019, sometime between 8.00 pm and 10.30 pm, Allen Sutterfield, founder, Art Bar, and Suparna Ghosh, a founding member, artist and award-winning author of three books of poetry, will celebrate National Poetry Month, 2019, at Free Times Café, 320 College Street (College and Spadina), Toronto. They will reflect upon the evenings of raucous poetry readings in 1991 at the historic Gladstone Hotel, and how they turned into the longest running weekly poetry reading series in Canada.
