It's September and that means all the most exciting parts of the book season are just around the corner! Literary prizes, new fall books, and some of our favourite festivals and events. One of the highlights every year is Toronto's most unique literary destination, The Word on the Street

On festival Sunday (September 22 this year!), crowds gather at the Harbourfront Centre for readings, panels, book and magazine sales, workshops, kids' and teens' programming, tasty food trucks, and more. And prior to the big event, The Word on the Street has additional programming, including The City Imagines Keynote, new this year and featuring a urban-themed lecture from innovative Toronto thinker Ken Greenberg (September 17). Check out the full program online at The Word on the Street website

To celebrate the festival, we're presenting contests all this month, courtesy of The Word on the Street, where you can enter to win books by the talented guest authors from the festival.
