Contest! Get Cultured with a Prize Pack of Books from the Word on the Street

On September 25, 2016, The Word On The Street returns to Toronto! To celebrate Toronto's favourite literary event of the year, we're partnering once again with WOTS to spread the word, share the love, and connect with Toronto's most voracious readers. If that's you, you won't to miss our series of contests throughout the month of September in partnership with The Word on the Street.

We're kicking things off with an amazing prize pack of books that engage with the most fascinating, important, exciting topics in our current cultural conversations — from gender identity to parenthood, from immigration to innovation, this multi-genre pack includes books from some of the most intriguing and creative writers in the country.

To enter, send your name and mailing address to contests@openbooktoronto.com with the subject line WOTS: GET CULTURED by 11:59p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016. One winner will be selected and contacted regarding prize collection at this year's festival.

The Word On The Street is a is a national celebration of literacy and the written word. Each September, in communities coast to coast, the public is invited to participate in hundreds of author events, presentations and workshops and to browse a marketplace that boasts the best selection of Canadian books and magazines you'll find anywhere.

The Word On The Street takes place in Toronto at the Harbourfront Centre (235 Queen Quay West) on Sunday, September 25, 2016 and features dozens of fantastic author readings, kids programming, author signings, food tents and much more.
