Colleen Nelson's Blood Brothers (Dundurn Press) follows best friends and graffiti artists Jakub and Lincoln, whose close-as-brothers lives diverge when Jakub is whisked away on a scholarship to a private school, while Lincoln, left behind, ends up ensnared by a gang. 

When the gang, known as the Red Bloodz, discover that Jakub has information about a murder, they decide he needs to be permanently silenced, leaving Lincoln torn between the gang and his best friend.
