UNB Reading Series: Kate Cayley and Laura Broadbent

The UNB Reading Series is delighted to present our next visiting writer, the acclaimed Toronto-based author Kate Cayley, who will be reading at Westminster Bookmark on Tuesday, Nov 25th at 7pm. Kate will be joined by poet and UNB PhD student, Laura Broadbent.
Kate Cayley is a fiction writer, poet, and playwright. She has published two short story collections, three collections of poetry, and a novel, Property (Coach House Books, 2025). She has won the Trillium Book Award, the Mitchell Prize for Poetry, and an O. Henry Prize, and been a finalist for the Governor General’s Award for Fiction, among other awards.
Laura Broadbent’s first book Oh There You Are I Can’t See You Is It Raining? won the 2012 Robert Kroetsch Award for Innovative Poetry. Laura has also published a chapbook called Interviews with Metatron Press, and their most recent book In on the Great Joke was published by Coach House in the fall of 2016.
