Get Excited for The FOLD - Festival of Literary Diversity

When the FOLD (Festival of Literary Diversity) first launched in May 2016, the wealth of talent on display was staggering. Founder and director Jael Richardson and her staff programmed a powerhouse line up of diverse voices from every possible literary genre.

We're proud to have Jael in our Open Book family as a columnist (check out her latest post, Six Tips for the Tired Activist) and we're excited for the FOLD's sophomore year in 2017. We were especially excited to check out this brand new video, which introduces new book lovers to the FOLD, and which announces that the FOLD 2017 will be expanding to four full days of programming from 2016's three days.

Check out the video to learn more about the FOLD and get excited about the diverse voices in Canadian literature.
