Celebrate Latin American Heritage Month by Entering to Win Great Kids' Books from Groundwood Books
October is Latin American Heritage Month in Canada and we're excited to celebrate the wealth of great literature by Latin American writers, courtesy of Groundwood Books.
Just in time for cozy reading weather, you can enter to win a prize pack of three spectacular titles from Groundwood, including great books to share with the young readers in your life.
Groundwood's Celebrate Latin American Literature contest prize pack includes one of each of:
- Wounded Falcons by Jairo Buitrago (translated by Elisa Amado, illustrated by Rafael Yockteng)
- Aquí era el paraíso/Here Was Paradise: Selected Poems of Humberto Ak’abal by Humberto Ak'abal (translated by Hugh Hazelton, illustrated by Amelia Lau Carling, and edited by Patricia Aldana)
- Sleeping with the Light On by David Unger (illustrated by Carlos Vélez Aquilera)
To enter, simply send us an email with your full mailing address and the subject line "Celebrate Latin American Literature" at contests@open-book.ca.
All entries must be received by 11:59pm on Sunday, October 10, 2021 in order to be considered.
One winner will be chosen at random and notified via email. One entry per person. This contest is open to Canadian residents only. Chance of winning depends on number of entries received.
