Griffin Prize Giveaway! Enter to Win Two Tickets to the 2024 Griffin Poetry Prize Readings and Winner Announcement

Courtesy of the The Griffin Trust For Excellence In Poetry, we're giving away two (2) tickets to one lucky reader to attend the 2024 Griffin Prize Readings. 

At the event, you will hear a selection of readings by the 2024 Griffin Poetry Prize shortlisted poets – Homero Aridjis, Amelia M. Glaser, Jorie Graham, Ishion Hutchinson, Yuliya Ilchuk, Halyna Kruk, Ann Lauterbach, George McWhirter, Don McKay - this year’s Lifetime Recognition Award recipient - the Canadian First Book Prize winner, and one of the 2024 Finalists of Poetry in Voice/Les voix de la poésie, a Canada-wide school recitation competition.

Most exciting of all, the event will feature the announcement of the Griffin Poetry Prize winner.

To enter, simply send us an email at contests@open-book.ca and tell us which poet you're most looking forward to hearing from at the ceremony. Please include a mailing address and the subject line "Open Book Griffin Readings contest". All entries must be received by 11:59p.m. EST on Friday, May 31st, 2024 to be considered.

One winner will be chosen at random and notified via email. One entry per person. This contest is open to Canadian residents only. Chance of winning depends on number of entries received.

The Griffin Prize shortlist readings will be hosted at Koerner Hall, a beautiful concert venue located at 273 Bloor Street West, on June 5th, 2024, beginning at 7pm. A winner must be able to attend the ceremony in person in order to claim their prize.
