Contest! Get the Best of Both Worlds with The Word on the Street's Facts and Fiction Prize Pack!

Are you a nonfiction lover? Or someone who adores curling up with a novel? Why not both?

If you're more into fabulous writing that genre divides, we've got the contest for you! Courtesy of The Word on the Street, you can enter to win an incredible prize pack of Canadian fiction and nonfiction. These books prove that incredible storytelling isn't confined to any one form, with books from activists, novelists, and more. 

And don't forget to mark The Word on the Street on your calendar: September 22, festival Sunday will see crowds gathered at the Harbourfront Centre for readings, panels, book and magazine sales, workshops, kids' and teens' programming, tasty food trucks, and more. And prior to the big event, The Word on the Street has additional programming, including The City Imagines Keynote (September 17), new this year and featuring a urban-themed lecture from innovative Toronto thinker Ken Greenberg, whose Toronto Reborn is included in today's prize pack! The Word on the Street Toronto Facts & Fiction prize pack includes one copy of each of:

To enter, all you need to do is send us a note at contests@open-book.ca with your name, full mailing address, and the subject line "WOTS Facts & Fiction Contest"

To be eligible, entries must be received by 11:59pm on Sunday, September 15, 2019. Contest is open to Canadian residents only; one entry per person will be accepted. 

One winner will be chosen at random and notified via email after the contest's closing. 

The prize pack is available courtesy of The Word on the Street Toronto, Coach House Books, McClelland & Stewart, and Dundurn Press.

The Word On The Street is a is a national celebration of literacy and the written word. Each September, in communities coast to coast, the public is invited to participate in hundreds of author events, presentations and workshops and to browse a marketplace that boasts the best selection of Canadian books and magazines you'll find anywhere.

The Word On The Street takes place in Toronto at the Harbourfront Centre (235 Queen Quay West) on Sunday, September 22, 2019 and features dozens of fantastic author readings, kids programming, author signings, food tents, and much more.
